A.A. District 4
General Service

General Service is how A.A. groups, committees, and trusted servants work together in service, carrying both the message and the collective voice of the Fellowship.

WHO WE ARE

A service district, here for the groups

District 4 (within Area 15 - South Florida) is a community of trusted servants in Sarasota and Manatee Counties committed to supporting the health and future of Alcoholics Anonymous. Through General Service, local groups have a voice in the discussions and decisions that help shape A.A.'s service structure.

Our district relies on the Legacy of Service, the Book of Motions, and Current Practices to guide our business meetings, preserve shared experience, and provide continuity from one panel to the next.

Together, these resources help us conduct business with informed group conscience, responsibility, and a spirit of service. Come join us at the next General Service Business Meeting.

Our District is divided into subdistricts. Each District Committee Member (DCM) serves a subdistrict, supporting its GSRs and carrying their groups' voices to the District and Area. Express your interest at the next District Business Meeting.
